About the event

Hockenheim is the home of the DTM: not only is the season finale traditionally held here, but no other track has hosted the DTM more often in its history than the Baden Motorpark. For visitors, the Motodrom provides a stadium-like atmosphere and the best views of the racing action.

The Hockenheimring is one of Germany’s most historic race tracks, located near the city of Hockenheim in the state of Baden-Württemberg. It opened in 1932 and has developed over the decades into a major motorsport arena. The track is 4.574 kilometers long and is known for its combination of fast straights and technical corners, allowing for exciting overtakes and thrilling races.

For many years, the Hockenheimring was the venue for the German Grand Prix in Formula 1 and has hosted numerous legendary races. The track is characterized by its distinctive design, including the long back straight, which is often considered one of the best overtaking opportunities. The latest track layout, in use since 2002, has altered the character of the circuit while also making it safer.
